Thanks marks good to be here why did you write a book on politics and why did it take you so long to write it?

I wanted to be throttled in band and I wanted soft woke evangelicals to yell at me on the internet and so because that's

never happened before yeah it's never happened and so I feel like I've really

nailed all my objectives with this book and sermon series and and honestly I've kind of

stayed out of the political fray but I feel like politics has got into the lane of

church and freedom and family and marriage and parenting and

liberty and I think a lot of that was exacerbated during COVID and so for me it's like even if we're just trying to stay in our lane

if the state gets into the church lane while we have two options we just let them run us off

the road in the name of loving our neighbor, which is not loving our God,

or we hit the horn, we pulled the wheel, we side swipe them, and we have the necessary conflict to try and get them back in their
