Hi, I'm Oran Alney and welcome to The Point.

And the latest Democratic presidential debate, the biggest ever, 12 candidates stretched across that stage in Ohio.

As usual, instant analysis called out the winners and losers, but do remember this.

The voters of Iowa and New Hampshire might well

upset everybody's predictions and they won't be heard from until February of next year. That said,

we'll hear today from some very interesting commentators about a lot of the factors that go into

constructing a winning campaign. Let's first hear from the debate an exchange between Joe Biden. He had been

the frontrunner and Elizabeth Warren, who had overtaken him in a lot of the polls. And the issue was

her signature accomplishment, a bill establishing a new agency to regulate big banks.

We want to get something done in America.

We have to get out there and fight for the things that touch people's lives.

I agreed with the great job she refers me.

I agreed with the great job she did.

And I went on the floor and got you votes.

I got votes for that bill.

I convinced people to vote for it. So let's get those

things straight to. Senator Warren, do you want to respond?

I am deeply grateful to President Obama, who fought so hard to make sure that agency was passed into law. And I am deeply grateful

to every single person who fought for it and who helped pass it into law. But understand.

You did a hell of a job of your job. When it comes to dealing with a stage full of presidential candidates, Tim Miller,
