We were on you of course are one of the co-host of AM Wakeup and I've been on that with you.

This is T Snyder and we're here to talk specifically about a film he made a while ago but first let's say

hello hi teas how are you doing? Hey Monica thanks for having me back on good to be. So I watched your film.

This actually, I saw it before, but I re-watched it for today

and it's called Hold Me, Hold Me the Movie.com, I think, is a place where you can kind of value for value.

You can get it free, but it's nice if people chip in because it actually does have such

high production value quite nice and it's very well done and you are

actually an actor in it and what a great job you did I have to say.

Thanks I appreciate it. I mean I was just you know it was it was kind of

freaky to see someone I've talked you know like on the big screen as it were so that was

cool very cool so but it's a if you would I don't I don't want to

describe it from my own terms. I'd rather you tell people what the

film is about why you made it and how you made it actually and then let's get into a conversation

if you don't mind. Yeah, sure.

So the film is called Hold Me, and it's about a woman whose job it is to hold and console people

who are being voluntarily euthanized.

And it's set in a fictional ambiguous location in the United States so that it wouldn't become too focused on the bureaucratic

logistics of policy in any given region or another and instead could be used as kind of just a general reflective apparatus for the

viewer wherever they're at in the world to step back and look at the themes of

doctor assisted dying, palliative care, hospice, and end of life caregiving, and how that's something that generally speaking, we sort of just leave out of mind until it's at our front door.
