Music Occasionally you'll hear someone say of our world, it's never been this bad before.

Well, we probably should go back and read through scripture again, then get a good history book,

and realize that there have been many times in history where things were pretty bad.

And one of those dark moments in the history of mankind is Genesis chapter number six.

Because this is the world on the verge of destruction.

This is just before the worldwide flood.

See if this doesn't sound like our world. See if this doesn't resemble what you're seeing on the news right now. Genesis 6,

verse 1, and it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters

were born unto them that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were fair,

and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And the Lord said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh,

yet his days shall be in 120 years.

Now, this is really interesting.

Let me pause just a moment and point out that in the season where it looks like there's

real progress being made, it's actually deteriorating. There's a multiplication of people. There is

advancement of civilization and culture. And that's the moment the Lord says, my spirit's not
