Summary

(00:00-24:29) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison continuing to react to the Pacers acquiring Pascal Siakam for three first-round picks, Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora, and Kira Lewis. Jake and Jimmy both agree that the Pacers stole Siakam if he ends up signing an extension with Indiana after the season. Finally, they guess when Pascal will make his debut with Indiana.

(24:29-45:31) – Rogers Sports Net’s Michael Grange joins Query & Company to explain what kind of player and person the Pacers are getting in Pascal Siakam. Additionally, he explains what happened in Toronto that led to them trading O.G. Anunoby and Pascal Siakam ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline, states that Siakam is the perfect fit next to Haliburton because he isn’t going to command for touches offensively and will play within the Pacers offense, and accesses what part of his game is the weakest.

(45:31-47:49) – Hour one concludes with Jake sharing the statement that the Indianapolis Colts made in relation to TMZ report regarding Jim Irsay.

(47:49-1:12:26) – For the first time since the Pacers acquired Pascal Siakam, Jake and Jimmy open the phone lines to see what fans think of the acquisition. Most of the callers seemed to like the trade, but there was a couple that didn’t agree with the trade. Additionally, Jake and Jimmy provide some information that explains why they are fine with the Pacers trading three first round picks.

(1:12:26-1:26:27) – At the start of the segment, Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie share what they did last night after work. Then Jake provides an update on a crime that was committed in 1975. This leads to J Law calling in and sharing his perspective on why it’s so important to forgive instead of feel hate.

(1:26:27-1:30:52) – The one o’clock hour concludes with the Jake and Jimmy talking about Boddington’s because Jake finally found some and wants Jimmy and Eddie to try it. Additionally, they tease their upcoming conversation with Bob Kravitz.

(1:30:52-1:54:47) – Alex Golden from Setting the Pace and BlueAndGolden.substack.com joins the program to share his perspective on the trade Indiana made with Toronto. Additionally, Jake confronts him about their disagreement on Twitter prior to the trade. Finally, he explains how perfect of a fit he is next to Tyrese Haliburton and Myles Turner, accesses what part of Siakam’s game he likes that doesn’t receive a lot of attention and backs up Jimmy and Eddie when it comes to Shawshank Redemption.

(1:54:47-2:15:26) – Bob Kravtiz from BobKravitz.com joins Jake and Jimmy on Query & Company to discuss his latest piece stating that Jim Irsay needs to turn ownership over to the daughters. He explains his viewpoint on why he believes that. Additionally, he voices his opinion on the Pacers acquiring Pascal Siakam and applauds the job the Pacers have done in rebuilding the franchise on the fly the last three years.

(2:15:26-2:19:07) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and Jake making a bold prediction for a college basketball game tonight.
