Welcome back to Homemakersheak podcast. It's Monday. We are ramping up for school year, spending a last few precious weeks of summer in red lipstick. No denim jumpers. Thanks for your patience last week.

It was my fault and I just simply put it that we had some mic issues. That was the easiest way to explain it. So we hope to enjoy a good old what was that one crotch naps and cardboard.

So what we called that episode that was a funny one got a lot of great feedback a few years ago. So we reposted it, but we're here. Some of us are freshly vacationed others of us are mucking about in August weeds.

Freshly mechanized, quite the jealous word for what I just experienced.

It looks like you did some relaxing. You got some tea marks on your neck there.

That's what my stomach looks like. I look like a zebra. Yeah, because I have a family looks like we have leprosy right now. I have like those 1980s. I have like it's I call it my mom chair.

So I have like this great like 1980s lawn chair that I got at a resale shop and that's what I take to the beach like every day for the month of July when we do our 30 day beach challenge.

And I have to set up because my kids are like swimming in the lake like swimming out to the floating dark. You know, like I can't.

I never get close my eyes, right. So because I'm sitting up, then my stomach is all like scrunched and I have so I tan like I can tan like if I just sat here and thought about tanning, I would get tan.

And so my stomach is like neat, neat, neat, neat, like all these little white lines when I stand up. It looks straight and accordion. That means I wear bikini. So now you all know. So yeah, it's good to be back.

We went to Paulie's Island, South Carolina, which is where Stewart's family has been vacationing for close to 30 years now. And I've been included in that. And I think 17 of the years. So quite a while we've been going here.

And it's fabulous and wonderful, but my laptop broke.

And we didn't have enough internet, which is crazy that there are still places like that. But we couldn't have recorded even if we wanted to.

Unfortunately, so it just wasn't in the cards. So I'm really glad to be back. I tried to really stand top of everything and it totally imploded.

So go figure. But this year we had 25 people, one house, two weddings and a funeral. So it was not the normal beach vacation. It was quite packed, quite wonderful in a lot of ways, but not not restful, not the restful sort of family gathering.

So here we go back at it.

Yeah, yeah, back at it. And I missed you. I missed you.

I don't know how to navigate like when we're apart. I'm like, I don't want to bugger. I don't like when people bug me when I'm away. And like, could I just be?

But then like, there's got to be like a certain amount of bugging that can take place. But then I was just up to my eyeballs and yeah.
