Well, as the days get darker and times get more challenging, we're called as believers to earnestly contend for the faith.

That's what we're going to talk about today on the Prophecy Prose podcast.

Yeah. Well, here we are in episode two of season 10, can't believe it. And we want to talk about something that is really near to our hearts because of the times in which we live, because of the

prophetic and eschatological connections to it, and because, to be honest, it's something that a

lot of churches aren't doing anymore. We're kind of watering things down. And before we get into this,

I just want to say the word contend. It's a really powerful word that means to fight

one-on-one, to wrestle, to touch and be in contact with something. So it's, you know, it's not something

that's a lighthearted thing. And of course, we got to balance that with, we're not called to

friendly fire other believers

or criticize every little thing that other believers are teaching or anything like that.

But when we see clear and present danger, when we see great error being taught in the church,

the Bible tells us in many places that we're supposed to contend, that we're supposed to

wrestle and point out truth where we can. Isn't that right, Jeff?

Absolutely. It's part of our responsibility. I mean, the idea is that God has given us,

he's deposited within us, this great truth. And we are stewards of the mysteries of God. We're stewards of the truth.

And so part of that stewardship is that we not only understand it, handle it, handle it accurately,

as Paul told Timothy, but also to be able to share it effectively with the world. And so that's

part of it. And as you said, the days are getting

more and more challenging. The tide is rising. We are facing more opposition now than at any time

in America's history concerning the gospel. And every indication is it's going to get worse. There's nothing prophesied

about some sort of last days sweeping revival across the nation prior to the rapture. And so we

do know that it's going to get even more and more worse. So we have to be on our spiritual,
