However, last Wednesday and Thursday, the Lord sent heavy rain into Atlanta

and the scheduled games between the Braves and the Mets were postponed.

Those two games will be played today in a double-headed

beginning at 110 PM in Atlanta.

And the National League Wild Card picture will be decided by what happens this afternoon.

Before getting to that and before getting to many other baseball stories,

the big story is in much of the south and

southeast part of the United States Hurricane Helene. I live in southwest Virginia

usually the impact of hurricanes has minimal, if any, impact on our area.
