One of the things that is baffled me over the years, any time I'm in a quote prayer meeting

or a quote, time of prayer, you know, two people, eight people, a church full of people,

I just am baffled by how few people pray during those times or ask for prayer.

Like we were, honestly, I'm going to out my team a little bit here.

We were in a time of staff prayer a few weeks ago and I just kicked it open and said,

where's the need?

Like, what can we pray for?

And it's just silence.

And I know it's, you know, we're just getting started in the morning.

And there's all these other reasons.

And this is a praying group of people.

But there is, there is something in human nature that hits a speed bump.

When we come to prayer, it doesn't feel natural.

It doesn't feel like, oh, it's just the next thing.

I'm just, I was talking to you.

Now I'm talking to Jesus.

You know, I was talking to Jesus.

Now I'm talking to you.

Like there's some sort of hiccup.

There's some sort of fence.

There's almost like a reluctance to go there.

Embarrassment, awkwardness.
