One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to

him, Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples. Luke, chapter 11, verse

1, friends, welcome back to the Wild at Heart podcast. And I love, I love that passage because

they are watching something happen and are like, teach us to do that. Right. It's more than

words, right? I want what you have. Exactly. Show us what's going on over there because

you pray differently than all the other guys we see around us praying. Like there's something

that spurs them to ask. John here this week with my pal Morgan. And some of you don't know that

Morgan is the vice president of discipleship here at Wild at Heart. And there's a whole long

story behind all that. But as Morgan has kind of grown in this message over the years and helped

us develop content, he's the guy that keeps pushing us deeper. Let's go deeper. Let's go deeper. Let's

go deeper. And I love that. Love that about you. And today is about prayer in some of the things

that you've learned about prayer over the years. But we need to kind of set this up because some folks

also don't know who listen to the Wild at Heart podcast that you have a podcast. The become good

soil podcast, right? Yeah, that came out as fruit from the first become good soil intensive. We

did over a decade ago where we were trying to go deep with a few. And after several years of that,

there was just the desire to keep strengthening those disciples. And I love in the passage that

you read John a little bit later, sermon on the mount in Peterson's translation. He invited his

climbing companions to go up the mountain. So from the many, the few said, I really want more.

So it was seven years ago that the become good soil podcast launched simply as an offering

for the like hearted that really want to be apprentice with God and his kingdom and go deeper.
