So welcome to our rosary meditation.

I want to invite everyone to come out today at 5 p.m. for our rosary tailgate.

It's going to be a beautiful afternoon, spectacular, here in the month of October, the month of the rosary.

I think we should have 5,000 people today who all want to gather around the queen of the

universe to give public witness to our fidelity to her and our love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

About 6.15, we're going to pray the rosary in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist with his

graces flooding out upon us. So it'll be a great time of friendship. Good conversation in the rosary.

Heard that before somewhere. Now, I'm blessed to be joined by almost a hundred of our alumni

from our spiritual mentoring program, people that wanted to go deeper in prayer

and wanted to help others learn to pray and go further in the spiritual life. They've gone

through the spiritual mentoring program. They've come back this weekend for retreat spend fantastic time

together very amazing group of people but if you're out there praying the

rosary with us and if you have a desire to go deeper in prayer yourself or if you

feel called to help others learn about prayer, the great Catholic

tradition of prayer, you should consider being a spiritual mentor as well.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

Since we've been focused on prayer this weekend with our retreat for our spiritual mentors.

In this meditation, we're going to reflect on really the goal of prayer, which is contemplation.
