The latest survey of consumer prices shows that inflation continues to shrink.

The Commerce Department says prices last month were 3.1% higher than a year earlier.

That was a bit more than economists expected,

but less than in December.

Federal reserve officials say they want to see inflation come down more

before cutting interest rates.

The Treasury Department wants investment

advisors to help fight money laundering. It's proposing a rule that would

compel advisors to inform the government of suspicious activity. Last week the

agency proposed a similar rule for real estate professionals.

Coca-Cola reported better than expected revenue, up 7% in the final three months of last year.

The improvement came from foreign markets and offset lower demand in the US.
