Hi everyone. Welcome to that spooky. I'm Johnny and I'm Tyler and this is a weekly podcast that does it all for you Damien.

0:51.0

Yeah, so if your name is Damien, you're welcome. You're so fucking welcome.

0:57.0

So we may as well do it now two minutes of drag race, two minutes of drag race and girl. It was the finale. Yes, all stars for us finally over all stars for us over and what do we think about the entire season or about the fact that spoiler alert.

1:11.0

We got a tie. Yeah, more that we got a tie and girl. I don't know. I don't know anybody who likes to tie. I wasn't like stoked about it. I thought it felt really weird. Yeah, for me,

1:21.0

it was kind of that feeling of like getting that thing that you really want for Christmas and then opening it up and realizing that it's broken. Yeah, because like I love Monet.

1:30.0

I followed her since before she was on drag race. I was so excited to see her in all stars. And even though I had my picks for who I thought we're going to be in the top, I'm still ultimately so fucking stoked that Monet walked away with the crown. Sure, I guess a crown. Yeah, one or two.

1:46.0

But yeah, it just feels kind of cheapened by the fact that it was split with somebody else. Yeah, that's it. Like a double win for a mini challenge. Great. A double win for an entire season. Weird.

1:58.0

Yeah, and like not to take away from what Trinity does. Like I feel like she was an equal contender on her own right. But just given like the way that the last lip sync went down and the challenge and all that kind of stuff, I just felt like Monet wanted. Yeah, Trinity singing was kind of just as awkward as it was in season nine.

2:14.0

And it just didn't do it for me really. Yeah, and I think a lot of people in like the whole fandom right now are really having a hard time placing their feelings because a lot of people were saying that they wanted to see a queen of color represented in the All Stars Hall of Fame.

2:28.0

Because it's been a lot of blonde white queens up until this point. Yeah, and as we saw in the final episode like Monet really represents her point of view and like her culture in like a really fierce way and like brings it to like her drag and her style and it's super cool. Like that final runway where she was wearing dreads and like this beautiful up to and that kind of like traditional African print on her dress. Like it was just all so fucking cool. It was just so on point and it was just so cool to see.

2:57.0

Okay, and so a final thought for me, I was kind of disappointed the entire season how much Naomi was slept on and especially in this finale. I thought her looks really good. I thought she had a kind of weak part in the song itself with that weird bridge, but that wasn't really her fault. That's what she was given.

3:15.0

And it's also kind of weird this double standard where Naomi is getting so much flack from the fandom for having sent home Manila where Monet was going to do the exact same thing.

3:26.0

Yeah, well, I think the difference there is that the fandom essentially had like a week long head start to come for Naomi, whereas by the time they found out that Monet had chosen Manila to go home, they had already kind of digested it. You know what I mean?

3:39.0

Yeah, like the fire was already started, but it is just kind of confusing all around. I don't know. Like did you fucking see her on that last episode? Yeah, yeah, she looked amazing. Yeah, it was absolutely flawless. So at the end of the day, it was a good season.

3:53.0

It's cool to see that, you know, two queer artists were able to get $100,000 each for what they do. Yep.

4:00.0

And even though the end of it was a little bit confusing at times and a little bit disappointing at other times, it's just really fun to see these drag queens come back and show us how they've evolved and what they can do.

4:11.0

And yeah, like I'm just happy it was on my TV for 10 weeks. Totally. And just to add to that, just to quote a tweet from Bob the drag queen, you can all afford $200,000 grand prize next time.

4:22.0

Yeah, now we know. So I guess the next time we'll talk about drag race, the season 11 season 11, which is in like two weeks. Okay, well now that we've gotten drag race out of the way, I want to talk about his on be wedding. Oh, yeah.

4:34.0

So I can't take credit for finding this one a huge showdown to Monica who listens to the show. I'm not going to say your Instagram name because I don't want to blow up your spot. I don't want to get you any stalkers.
