Summary

Trial is moving along, and there's drama both inside and outside of the courthouse. In this episode we go over the testimony of homeowners Brian and Nicole Albert, as well as the drama and legal action being taken outside the courthouse in the media line. It's one of the most polarizing cases in true crime history, and trial is underway. A 16 year veteran of the Boston Police Department, left to die in one of the biggest blizzards in Massachusetts history. Prosecution has charged his girlfriend, 42 year old Karen Read, with his murder, claiming she hit him with her car during a fight and left him to die in the cold. The defense says Read is being framed, set up to take the fall by one of the most powerful families in this Boston suburb- all to protect one of their own. There are discrepancies in statements, missing camera footage, and deep family ties to everyone from the lead investigator to the attorney general’s office, to the judge. 0:00.0	The Karen Reed murder trial, compelling and at times difficult to hear testimony from one of the Commonwealth's key witnesses, bringing us back to the morning John O'Keefe was found outside 34 Fairview.

0:21.6	Albert's front lawn. He testified that the next morning, Karen Reed called his wife,
0:26.6	Jennifer, in a panic, saying she couldn't find John. Prosecutors say Reed hit O'Keefe with her
0:31.8	SUV, left him for dead after a night out drinking, leaving him to seemingly freeze to death in the snow.
