0:15.0	Oh, do you do. Rebuilding the walls around Jerusalem was something that Nehemiah cared about very much, but it wasn't his ultimate goal glorifying God was. Today on
0:36.6	Truth for Life we'll see how Nehemiah honored God throughout the project and
0:40.4	even as he prepared the Israelites for his own departure.
0:44.0	Alistairbegg is teaching from Nehemiah Chapter 6, beginning in verse 15. What I'd like to do this morning is just gather up these concluding verses of
0:59.4	chapter six and the opening verses of chapter 7.
1:03.0	The first main point in verses 15 and 16 we can consider under the heading,
1:07.8	Mission Accomplished.
1:10.0	And we're going to note two things.
1:11.3	First of all, how the enemies reacted and then what the enemies realized.
1:17.0	Now the reaction here in verse 16 is so very different from the way they'd been before.
1:23.2	They've done an amazing about turn, there's a change of face, if you doubt that,
1:27.3	you should turn for a moment back to chapter four in the opening verses.
1:31.4	Because there we have them in full flight in all their
1:35.1	bombastic antagonism, angry, ridiculing, seeking to use sarcasm to suggest to Nehemiah that he is engaged in a project
1:46.0	that is really quite ridiculous and it is impossible for him to think of
1:51.0	bringing it to completion. for him I had to do on that occasion.
1:55.1	And what did Namaya do on that occasion?
1:57.8	What he did on just about every occasion?
1:59.5	He turned to prayer.
