Hi, I'm Alyssa Malano, and this is Sorry Not Sorry. So, It has been a challenging few weeks for the Democrats. By the time this episode airs, it's possible that President Biden will have been forced to end his re-election campaign.

It's just as possible that he'll find a way to stay in and will be the nominee for the November

election, which is right around the corner.

So today, Ben and I are going to talk about what it all means, what is on the line, and how we as Democrats,

Patriots, and pro-democracy Americans from all political stripes might want to think about the situation.

The universal reaction was somewhere approaching panic. The people who were texting with me were

very concerned about President Biden seeming extremely feeble. A critical day

really for the future of the president's

re-election effort we are going to see President Joe Biden holding a news

conference tonight. And as you all likely know by now this appearance comes

as more close allies of

Biden are pushing for him to drop out of the race.

Donald Trump is taking a victory lap out on the campaign trail speaking to a crowd

in Virginia where he continued to push some of the 30 plus lies that he told on

stage at that debate last night.

With all the attention on Joe Biden's campaign, two major news organizations today put

the focus back on Donald Trump and his bid for the White House.

An L.A. Times editorial called him quote, patent unfit for the White House,

while the New York Times Ed Lord described him as unfit to lead.

I think the first thing we've got to talk about and this is the hard one, right?

But can Biden do it not only can he do the job of president

but can he win the election and I think that's the whole ball game right there
