| 0:00.0 | Hi everyone I'm Kevin Miller. This is the What Drives You podcast where I curate and question the latest and greatest personal growth methodologies to help reveal the big ideas so you can make the big shifts in your life as you grow and |
| 0:14.7 | evolve and enjoy the pursuit even more than the destination. In this episode |
| 0:20.1 | let's consider what duties of your life you can delegate so you can do more of what |
| 0:25.8 | inspires you. I don't know many people who are sitting around bored who have ample |
| 0:31.0 | free time and lots of margin between work and self-care and parenting and home and car maintenance and even socializing and entertainment and all important sleep. |
| 0:41.0 | We generally have more we want to do and get done than time allows. |
| 0:46.3 | So we stay at status quo, feel kind of stuck. |
| 0:49.9 | What's interesting is we love to watch people at the top of their game, athletes and celebrities, and people of influence who spend far more time on average working at their chosen craft and keeping themselves in top shape overall. |

| 1:27.9 | them go run errands or plow a field or whatnot. They keep them in shape to do what they do best and they really pamper them. |
| 1:34.8 | Of course that's what we're used to seeing with athletes, professional football or soccer or tennis or whatever it is. I mean their lives are bent on being able to |
| 1:46.8 | perform at their highest degree and so they really orient their lives around that same |
| 1:51.8 | thing with celebrities the famous famous people, right? But it's the same |
| 1:55.2 | with, you know, let's say politicians or people in authority, people of great influence, and |
| 2:00.2 | they delegate a lot of their lives because what they do is deemed as important. |
| 2:07.3 | Even a celebrity who's up there, I don't know if they're doing something important, but it's entertainment, |
| 2:11.7 | we like it and we pay them we apparently think it's |
| 2:14.8 | important enough to pay them and spend our time watching them and we do that to a |
| 2:18.8 | degree to where they have to focus on what they're doing and be the best of the best. |
| 2:24.0 | Well, is their work more important? |
