Today is the day the Lord has made, and these are the times through which God has decided we shall live.

You may have noticed the arrival of conservative speech codes. And if you haven't, I don't blame

you because it hasn't been trumpeted enough. And I can state this as someone who tries to live my

life as much as I can, and I fail. I try to live according to the rules of Jesus Christ,

and we're to keep a pure tongue in our mouth and to speak of things that are wholesome,

and to address things in a loving sense.

Doesn't mean I don't blow my top sometimes.

In other words, I try not to display hatred because I try not to feel hatred for my fellow man.

I try to love my enemies, And I try to do that,

even though this is my profession. And sometimes it hurts the profession because there's a market

for a lot of hateful sounding rhetoric in conservative media. Lots of room for that and lots of ways to make

that easy to do. It's more difficult to do it

this way. So I am not a fan of what some people call hate speech. I don't know what it means. It can't

be defined. No one can. You can say there's things that are hateful, but the second you do that,

then they start to bring a whole lot of other things into this. So imagine my surprise when I learned

that now we're going to have conservative speech codes.
