Isn't it a joy to know that because of the cross our sins are forgiven?

And when we surrender to Jesus, there's no condemnation left for us.

Jesus took all of God's wrath so that we could be saved.

So the question many of us have then is why does sin still create consequences?

Now all of us realize that sins, even when they are forgiven, still have consequences.

Say for example, tomorrow night you are at your small group and one guy in your small group

requests prayer that you and see win on Wednesday nights.

Now that just annoys you for a couple of reasons.

One, you're pretty sure that God is a Duke fan.

Even though they chose his enemy as their mascot, okay?

Just saying, you know, you're pretty sure that he's a Duke fan.
