This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Well, welcome to the movement of the Holy Family.

Tonight, I am blessed to be at the Priors who have gathered family and friends for good

conversation and to pray the rosary.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

My list is long, I'm sure yours is as well so don't hesitate to hit

pause. Tomorrow is a feast to the miraculous medal.

For on this day in 1830, Mary appeared to St. Catharine Labore in Paris.

She was standing, our lady was standing, clothed in white with a white veil, while her feet rested on a white globe.

Under one of her feet was a green serpent, and Mary was crushing the head of the serpent who represented Satan.

In her hands she held a golden ball surmounted by a cross signifying the world for which she

intercedes.

She seemed to be offering the world to God,

with her eyes at times raised to heaven

and then lowered to the earth.

And Catherine relates that all at once she saw rings on the fingers of our lady.

Three rings to each finger and each ring set with gems which emitted rays. Mary said to Catherine, this ball that you see

represents the whole world and each person in particular. And in reference to

the rays coming from the gems, our lady said,

They are the symbols of the graces I shed upon those who ask for them.

The gems from which rays do not fall are the graces for which souls forget to ask and go wasted.
