Welcome to the movement of the Holy Family.

Today, November 21st is the Feast of the Presentation of Mary, which is different from the presentation of Jesus.

The Feast of the Presentation of Mary commemorates her entrance into the temple of God in Jerusalem when she was a little child.

Why is this significant?

You will be very surprised at that answer.

But let us begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

We offer this rosary for all the prayer intentions that have come in I read them all but especially for

Caitlin Law a young mother who is 32 weeks pregnant but facing difficulties with this pregnancy.

We pray for the perfect health and development of this child and for Caitlin.

God's plan is to dwell in every person through the gift of the Holy Spirit

making us shares in the divine life.

Thus the gift in the presence of the Holy Spirit in our souls brings the divine life to each one of us,

making us adopted sons and daughters of God.

Adam and Eve rejected this gift, turning away from God in their pride and self-sufficiency.

In response, God did not abandon us.

He prepared us to receive this gift of his presence by stages, the first of which was the Holy Spirit dwelling in the

Ark of the Covenant as described in Exodus, Chapter 40, and then in the temple of Solomon in 1st Kings, chapter 8.

But before Solomon's temple was destroyed in 586 PC,

Jeremiah removed the arc containing the Holy Spirit,

hit it, and it was never found again.
