This is Holy Family School of Faith.

So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

We are in the cave of dissemining where Jesus told eight of the Apostles to watch and pray.

And we are right next to the place where the apostles laid Mary in a tomb and they were present

witnesses to her bodily assumption into heaven.

So thank you for joining us for this time of prayer.

As we prepare to go and re-consecrate ourselves to Mary at the place of her assumption.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And let's call the mind all those who promised to pray for.

Mary is the mother of the church and she is our spiritual mother

in John Chapter 19 from the cross, Jesus offered the world a great

gift. He offered his mother to be our spiritual mother.

Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother,

and seeing his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing near her,

Jesus said to his mother, woman, this is your son. Then to the

disciple he said, this is your mother. God has only to speak a word and the entire universe came into existence.

What God says becomes real.

God said, behold your mother.

Now Mary is our spiritual mother.

And the very next line in this passage states, and from that moment, the disciple. The disciple

made a place for her in his home.

That's not a very good translation in English.
