Dr. Shefali Tsabary gives her audience a whole lot to think about. It's not by accident she is an Oprah approved bestselling author. Dr. Shefali is a clinical psychologist, international public speaker, and author who combines Western psychology and Eastern philosophy. She is the author of The Conscious Parent, Out of Control, and most recently The Awakened Family.
Talking with Hilaria and Daphne, Dr. Shefali explains what conscious parenting is and how it can alleviate suffering. Plus, parents should live in the moment and be present with their children, and avoid the desire to fret over all the things that parents worry about. These concerns in reality are insecurities we feel about ourselves that we project onto our children. There's a lot to chew on in this episode so make sure you and your inner child pay attention.
