0:55.7	Lori LaBea. Welcome, Lori. Well, I love doing these shows and I love working with you. So I,
1:02.9	and I think this is an important conversation that we're going to have today. I agree. You know,
1:08.0	we're talking about health care changes and seniors, and it's the two of us today.
1:12.9	We're not going to have a panel, but we're just going to talk a little bit about our experiences
1:16.9	and, you know, where we see things in the care industry this day and age.
1:21.6	I want to start with you, Lori, and then for our viewers and listeners who may not be familiar with your story or your background,
1:27.9	when did you first get into the senior care industry?
1:31.4	Well, you know, really early on, but it wasn't in the field of dementia that I'm in right now.
1:38.5	Originally, I was in the group home industry for developmentally disabled in my 20s.
1:45.6	And I did that for about 10 years.
1:48.8	And then I switched into real estate.
1:52.6	And, you know, you think, well, you wouldn't think seniors.
1:55.7	But as soon as I stepped into that space, I saw this huge need for services for seniors, that they were being
2:05.1	treated differently. Like, this is your last move, you know, it's all downhill from here. And, you know,
2:11.8	who wants to deal with that? And, and then, you know, I did that for 25 years. And then my mom, you know, was having issues with her
2:22.4	memory. She lived with dementia for 30 years. When I was in real estate, that started to show.
2:28.7	And I went from just talking about helping people like transition and getting through a move
2:36.1	and the benefits of that to talking about dementia and our story.
