My name is Michelle, and today's episode is going to be a little bit different. I have the honor of interviewing our guest, Lance and Lori, and we're going to flip the tables on them and put them on the hot seat. So hello, Alayas Alori.

Hi Michelle, thanks for being here.

Let's start with your backgrounds.

Let's talk about how you started, how you got into the senior advocacy space and a little bit

about your backgrounds.

Lori, you want to go?

Sure.

So I had no intention of getting into the health care space at all. I was in residential real estate. I had been in health care prior working with developmental

disabilities for about 10 years then went into working with

developmental disabilities for about 10 years,

then went into real estate

and worked with seniors and their families

for 25 years.

But it was actually the senior communities that urged me to step into this space because my mom lived with

dementia for 30 years. My dad had brain cancer and I started sharing some of those stories with families and educational programs I was doing and the communities just said

People need to hear this authentic real side of what's going on and everything is kind of doom and gloom,
