contention. Welcome back to the Bill Bennett show, it's the podcast, it translates

And we look to the existential threats to America.

We look to things that are called existential threats, but may not be.

We've got a very interesting conversation coming up with Conrad Black.

It's always good and smart. He's a really

smart guy. It also increases and improves my vocabulary dramatically. But you know in

the course of talking to him, a bulletin came out, which I've just seen stunning.

The first prediction about possible deaths in this country was 2.5 million.

You remember that?

Right.

And then that was pushed down to, well, maybe just 250,000.

That's dropped by 90%. Then it was between 100 and 250, and now the people who do the same

model are saying 60,000. So there you go. You know all sympathy and understanding and compassion

for those who are dying from this horrible disease virus and it's apparently very difficult to go through very people lose their breath they panic

and it's you know it's really ugly but this is not the end of the country a This is not a national catastrophe. B, and C, it's not worth shutting the country down.

And D, this is not equivalent to Pearl Harbor and 9-11 combined which has been said a number of times.

Yeah, I know the body counts smaller there, but it's a different thing.

You know, this is a tragedy.

9-11 and Pearl Harbor were slaughters,

intentionally done by enemies of the country,
