I kept it hidden.

Because what I thought was, as soon as I say these words out, my life is over.

Everything that I have in my life is going to be taken away from me.

So I started this internal countdown in my head.

I knew the hormones were going to start working.

So I said, well,

I can live this happy life for three more months until my world comes crashing down. And then I'll have

one day of living authentically and then my life will be over. So that's kind of what happened.

We're going to be talking all about her. So Victoria, thank you so much for joining us today. Thank you. Thank you for having me. I'm really excited. Okay. So let's start with the basics. Why don't you tell our listeners a little bit more about you before I, like, dive into the questions? So my name is Victoria Pereira. I live in Toronto, Canada. I am

46 years old. Education-wise, I have a master's in science in childhood ed, a specialist in political

science of my undergrad. And I've worked as a welfare caseworker, a grade 6 math teacher, and now currently I'm a residential home

appraiser where I tell the banks how much houses are worth. I've got two kids, divorced a couple of

years, and yeah, that's a lot of it. I think it's a me in a nutshell.
