Michigan women's lacrosse is in hot pursuit of a big 10 tournament title.

They're going to take on Northwestern Thursday night down in Columbus at 6 o'clock.

Head coach Hannah Neelson stops by to give us a preview of what to expect on Thursday night,

Here's your host, John Chanson. Well, the women's

lacrosse team is in the middle of the Big Ten tournament. Big game coming up on Thursday at

6 o'clock down in Columbus, take it on the number one team. That is the Northwestern Wildcats.

To join me to talk about that matchup and where they are in their season is head coach

Hannah Nielsen coach thanks for joining me and I mean this is this is where the rubber meets the

road how excited to you guys to be playing and continuing to play in the big 10 tournament

it's awesome I think every opportunity at this point in the season that you get another game,

you know, nothing's guaranteed at this point.

So the opportunity to keep our season alive, you know, within Big 10 play,

it's been a little while since we've made the, you know, the final four of a Big 10

conference championship.

So we're excited to be there.

We're excited to play and to really just for more opportunities to practice together to play together

than obviously for the big matchup on Thursday.

You guys beat Penn State last Saturday, the number 18 team in the country.
