Welcome back, friends, to Conquering Heroes, and I'm excited for everybody to hear our next guest,

but I'm selfishly more excited to talk to our next guest, and that's Michigan Hockey Coach,

going into his fourth year in Ann Arbor, Mel Pearson.

Coach, I think the easy question, but not an easy answer, is how you doing?

Hey, John, great to be with you.

Good, good.

You know, we're on the ice right now with our team.

You know, we transition from just small groups to finally being able to have our whole team together.

And I think that's been healthy and good for our players and good for our staff.

And now the next step is we're just waiting to get the call when we get to go.

But for the most part, our team's healthy.

Like I said, and a lot of enthusiasm within the team, just anxious to play.

And we're excited when football got the nod to go.

And, you know, that I think was encouraging to all of us and all our players and obviously all Michigan fans.

So, in short, we're doing good.

And I know that shortly coming up would be when you would normally start your season.
