Michigan Women's Soccer wrapped up their non-conference schedule last week with a tie against number 19 Colorado and a win on Sunday over the University of Toledo.

And as I hear, Saturday night wasn't just a long night for 110,000 people and the fans.

It was a long day for you guys.

Tell us a little bit about why some of the soccer team wasn't able to stay to be recognized at the big house.

Yeah, I mean, it was a long day. We had practice in the morning as we are currently in our season and we were preparing for our last non-conference game at Toledo on Sunday. So we had practice.

We also had a tailgate slash ring ceremony for our team 28 who won the Big Ten tournament

championship last year.

So we had everybody, for the most part, back.

We'd have a few alums that weren't able to make the way back to Ann Arbor, but we had our

families, friends. We were able to get our incoming 23s were able to attend, so we got to do a whole

big ceremony. And then, yeah, we were supposed to be out on the field to be recognized at the big house,

but of course with the delay, how to make the decision of what's best for the current team now as we were traveling the next morning to go to Toledo to finish out on-conference play.

So what's a moment like that mean for the entirety of your team?
