academic year, and to do so, I am now joined by the Donald R. Shepherd

Director of Athletics, Ward Manuel.

Ward, thanks for joining me.

And if you could wrap this year, we'll go into in depth in a minute,

wrap what you've seen from Michigan Athletics into this year in a nice little box and put a bow on it.

What would you say?

Well, John First is glad to be here with you and everybody listening. I would use the

term amazing. It has just been with everything that we have gone through and everything your

listeners have gone through for the last couple of years,

to see us return to normal activity for the most part,

and to see how hard our, the men and women, our coaches, the staff have worked throughout.

It's almost like coming out of a tunnel and you're ready to roll.

Coming out of that shoot as an offensive lineman or a defensive lineman,
