They're going to take on Denver in Boston, April 7 at 5 o'clock in the evening.

on with the ice hockey team.

And I'm now joined by Mel Pearson, the head coach of a team that's destined to go to Boston

for the Frozen Four.

Coach, first of all, welcome.

And congratulations on the success to this point.

Well, thanks, John. It's great to be with you, and it's a fun time of year.

You know, obviously just watching our basketball team go through it and then obviously watching our women's team and the great year that they had.

You know, it's a lot of, it's exciting time to be at Michigan, and we're just

happy that we have the opportunity now to go to Boston playing a Frozen Four. Now, this year has

been, it's brought its own set of challenges, and all of them, it seems like they've been good

challenges, but kind of take us through now that you have perspective of, you know, being able to look back, the draft, and how that affected

the chemistry, the preparation for the season.

When you look back, what do you see?

Yeah, I don't think people maybe realize it all started in the summer with the draft.
