joined by Kevin Conry, the head coach of the men's lacrosse program and coach. First of all,

thanks for joining me. I know this season hasn't started out the way that you've wanted,

but what have you learned about your team in some really tough matchups? It's four ranked opponents all on the road. And there's got to be a lot of lessons that you're taking away from some of those matchups. Yeah, we've got a pretty new team, right? We've got a lot of young guys playing. We're baptizing them. That's kind of what our mentality was going into the season to begin with, right? We're going to go ahead and play some of the best teams in the country. And everything we do in the non-conference is built so that we're set up to play big tents. Right. And so when we play these hard-nosed teams, these road teams, we knew we had, you know, more road games in conference. So we wanted to make sure we played on the road.

We knew that, you know, the weather around here isn't unbelievable. So when we have some of these destination games that we can go to, we want to play good lacrosse and good weather, right? Let's go to Atlanta. Let's play in 70 degrees. Let's go to Houston. Let's play in 80 degrees. You know, that's some things that we really wanted to give our guys an experience, right?

So what we've learned is that, you know, in order to beat the best, right, we have to go ahead and play the best, right?

But also we have to do it for a continuous 60 minutes. You know, throughout all these films, we're watching, man, we're playing some real high level lacrosse, you know, for 35 minutes, for 40 minutes, for 45 minutes, for 50 minutes.

We're building all of this up where we feel like we're ready to go ahead and put some complete games together.

We just had to get these young guys and these guys who have never really given us significant minutes in their careers yet.
