Well, one of my favorite coaches, and not just coaches, but one of my favorite people of all time,

Carol Hutchins is going into the Hall of Honor.

And I think we've all probably had the same thing that we asked the question.

How is she not already in it?

Well, she went in in mid-October.

I had a chance to sit down with her before the ceremony, and here's the conversation with

the former softball coach, Carol Hutchins.

And the reason you're on this, there's a lot of reasons that you could be on, but is because

you are one of the newest members of the Hall of Honor. Congratulations when Ward called you.

What was your reaction?

Well, I can't start without congratulating you back because, you know, it's one thing to have this tremendous honor.

And then you look at who you're going in with and who you're going in with that's come before you.

I mean, to me, that is the most humbling moment you can have.

And, yeah, word called me.

And truth be told, I was driving down to Columbus, Ohio,

to watch our softball team play last year. And when I saw him come up on my car phone, I thought,

uh-oh, hope he doesn't need me to do something right now because I'm going to watch softball.

And obviously, it was totally out of left field for me. I mean, I just, I used to be on that committee a long time ago, but it's a tremendous honor,
