Well, the Michigan hockey season begins this Friday night with an exhibition game against Simon Frazier.

The regular season opens up October 7 against Providence, and the Big Ten season gets going underway October the 20th against Ohio State.

Hockey season is going to get underway on Friday night.

We wanted to get a little preview of what this year could be.

Obviously, coming off the Frozen Four appearance of last year.

So who better to talk to them than Brandon Norado, the head coach.

Brandon, thanks for joining me.

And I know you guys, hey, things are up and running.

What's it been like at practice so far?

Yeah, thanks for having me, John.

It's been awesome. awesome just great group of

guys everyone's competing everyone's bought in and listening um and we've been fortunate uh

to have those type of players for a while now but just looking forward to the year and guys stepping

up in new roles and uh you know just seeing where they can add value and trying to prove it

individually and as a team. So there's some new faces, some new names, and some good ones that

have come back. But I want to get to, first I want to start with the end of your year last year.
