Summary

"Oh... man! It's gonna be a long day..." Darren, Ryan, Cane and Rinse debutant Michiel Kroder and returning guest Jon Salmon discuss the potty-mouthed squirrel before, after and around the rather unorthodox platformer, Conker's Bad Fur Day. Focusing mainly on the original N64 comedy adventure, we discuss how a Scouse dung beetle sounds to non-English players, we consider what's it like to play the game for the first time in 2016 and whether the jokes stand the test of time fifteen years on. We also touch upon the Xbox remake Conker: Live & Reloaded and its differences and maybe, possibly, speak about a giant opera-singing poo. Oh, and some Three Word Reviews, too! P.S. Contains bleeped swears. http://media.blubrry.com/caneandrinse/caneandrinse.com/podcast/cane_and_rinse_issue_218.mp3   Music used in this issue: 1: Conker the King by Robin Beanland 2: Windy by Robin Beanland 3: Bats Tower by Robin Beanland 4: Windy (Bats Tower) by Robin Beanland 5: The Fairy Panther King by Robin Beanland 6: We Vill See Who Uses the Duct Tape by Robin Beanland 7: Gentlemen, Get Me One of These by Robin Beanland 8: Conker the King (Bad Fur Day) by Robin Beanland 9: Beardy erm, Birdy by Robin Beanland 10: Jinjo Village (Grant Kirkhope) by Robin Beanland 11: Mad Pitchfork - Barn Fight 1 by Robin Beanland 12: Windy ~ Barn Area by Robin Beanland 13: Exit the Beach by Robin Beanland 14: Enter the Vertex - Heist by Robin Beanland 15: Windy ~ Queen Bee Version by Robin Beanland 16: Bats by Robin Beanland 17: The Ugga's by Robin Beanland 18: Poo by Robin Beanland 19: Sloprano by Robin Beanland 20: The Boss & the Bomb by Robin Beanland 21: War Is a Terrible Thing by Robin Beanland 22: Conker: Live & Reloaded Opening by Robin Beanland 23: Conker: Live ~ Menu Screen by Robin Beanland 24: Conker: Live ~ Menu Screen II by Robin Beanland 25: Castle von Tedistein by Robin Beanland 26: Conker the King - Reprise by Robin Beanland 27: End Credits by Robin Beanland Cane and Rinse 218 was edited by Ryan Hamann Do you have an opinion about this particular game or maybe about our podcast in general?
