Hey, this is Trey. Thank you for joining us. You know, I guess if you've been doing something

long enough, you either run out of friends to ask to come on your podcast. That's one option.

The other option is that you have had people on your podcast, but you found them to be really

interesting. So you want to have them back again. And it would be the latter in this case.

I just I think this fellow is a very thoughtful guy. He's a congressman from Texas. He was a

Navy seal, but if you know anything about Navy seals, they really don't like talking about

that. And I'm not even sure that's the way they refer to themselves. I think it's it's

bud straining or something like that. But regardless, one of the hardest things in the world

to to pull off and it fascinates most of us, especially those of us that can't imagine

going through it. But I would also say he's something I don't want to say of a poet.

Because I don't know if he's a poet, but he's a philosopher of sorts, at least to me, or

how about we just settle on a thinker? He's a thinker. Now, whether you agree with him

or not, to me is completely beside the point, at least he's put a lot of thought into what

he believes. And he remains open to evidence that might run contrary to what he currently

believes, which makes him something of a unicorn and politics. So with that, how about
