Let's get into the mix. So last night yesterday, I guess it was last night, House and Senate

leaders unveiled a new CR, a new stopgap funding bill. We scooped the dates on Saturday.

The dates are March 1st for the first

tranche of government funding and March 8th for the second tranche. Remember that first tranche is just a

couple bills, actually four bills. And the second tranche is the big chunk of government funding,

including Pentagon funding. Now, the stopgap package is really

aimed at averting a shutdown this Friday, number one, and to give House and Senate appropriators

more time to write spending bills that adhere to the Fiscal Responsibility Act, that

top line number that Kevin McCarthy cut with Joe Biden a

couple of months ago, now last spring, I guess it was. And the deal has been, I guess,

enshrined is the best way to say it, by Speaker Mike Johnson and Chuck Schumer, with $16 billion
