The drone that killed three U.S. Army soldiers and wounded dozens more in Jordan on Sunday approached the U.S. military outpost called Tower 22.

Around the same time, an American drone was returning to the base, which led to uncertainty

over whether it was hostile and caused a delay to the U.S. response.

And that's according to U.S. officials speaking to CNN on a condition of anonymity.

The enemy drone followed the American drone as it approached, but it's not clear whether

The three U.S. soldiers killed in the attack were identified Monday as Sergeant William Rivers, 46 years old of Carrollton, Georgia,

Moffat, 23 years old of Savannah, Georgia.

That's according to the Defense Department.

At the White House press secretary, Corrine Jean-Pierre, shared her condolences or whatever this

is.

who lost three brave, three folks who are military folks who are brave, who are always fighting,

who are fighting on behalf of this administration of the American people, obviously more so, more importantly.
