Joining me today, it's my good friend Nate Tyson. How you doing, buddy? I'm good. March Madness, you know, Badgers are out. First week of free agency is over. I'm kind of like, all right, now what? Like, oh, my juice is gone. So maybe I got it all out last week. And now, so I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my March.

You know, I know I live in Vegas.

But, yeah, now that Wisconsin's out, it's kind of like, oh, okay. I spent most of this weekend trying to enjoy the weather a little bit in Chicago. There's a lot of walking around, a lot of sitting on rooftops and just seeing friends that I have in a while. That was very nice. It's a good time of year.

It's an exciting time of the year.

It's been gorgeous here over the last few days.

And Free Agency has died down a little bit to the point that I think this is a good time to have a bigger picture discussion. Because we'll get to this a little bit later. but I think that free agency is we often overreact to the individual signings, right?

We'll shit can something or we'll celebrate something in the moment and eventually it just

becomes totally wrong on either end of that spectrum.

And I think that's why I always like to have a little bit of take a little bit of a cautious

approach with these conversations. But I do think, and I've said to have a little bit of, take a little bit of a cautious approach with these conversations.

But I do think, and I've said this before, I do think free agency is a way for us to understand a team's thinking and for us to gain insights on them.

I think teams are trying to tell you what they are and tell you what their plan is this time of year.

So what I wanted to do here about a week after the start of free agency is decipher some of the messages that teams have sent us. I want to hone in on four or five of them and say, all right, what's the plan? What is this team trying to tell us are we going to listen? So we're going to get to those in a little bit here, but I want to start with a few

little bits of news that didn't really fit into those larger conversations.

First of all, the Rams signed to Sean Jackson this week.

We have not seen the details on that contract.

Makes perfect sense to me.
