This all went down in broad daylight on Saturday and El Monte, California just east of LA.

He also fired bear spray at employees inside the store.

At that moment I was very scared, I didn't know what to do.

We used to work day and night and just so when to come and grab your stuff, it's not fair.

The family members who work at the store put up a fight beating the perpetrator with a stick.

The man's shirt got ripped off before he ran away, empty handed.
