in prayer as we pick up in First Kings chapter 18 verse 44 and now

with today's message here's pastor Chuck and he sent him seven times and he came

to pass the seventh time that he said behold there is a rising

a little cloud out of the sea about the size of a man's hand.

And he said go up and say to Ahabhab prepare your chariot and get down in order that the rain doesn't stop you.

And so it came to pass in the meantime that the heaven was black with clouds and the wind and there was a great rain and

Ahab road and went to Jezreel the other end of the Valley of Meghetto and the

hand of the Lord was on Elijah and he girded up his loins and ran before

Ahab to the entrance of Jezraels. So God answered by fire and now God sent the rain in answer to his prayer. But remember

the confidence in prayer came from the fact of the listening ear.

And this is always true.
