Good morning, everyone. Happy Thursday. Welcome to Inklings. And springtime, if you live in Utah,

it's such a pretty day today. We have so much to talk about. I can barely wait. And I was thinking

this this morning. Many, many years ago,

I started teaching early morning seminary in Utah. And it was my calling, which doesn't happen

very often in Utah, but it was. It was my calling. And I would teach early morning seminary in my church building

in the Relief Society room, in the primary room. And when I started teaching and people found out,

all the moms were like, we want to come to seminary with the kids. We just, we'll just sit at the back. We won't talk. We just want

to sit at the back. And I was like, that is not going to work because no one is going to talk

if their mom comes to seminary. You know, no offense, but that is just true. And so I finally

talked to my state president and I was like, can we just have a mom's

seminary class? And so I could do it on a different day and we can study exactly what the kids are

studying in school so everyone can go home and talk to their kids about what they're learning.

And we could just have this mom's seminary class.

And he was like, yeah, I think that's fine. If you want to do a mom seminary class, that is

fine. And so we would do, we would meet together and we would have this mom seminary class.

And we, anyone in our state could come to it.

But then other people wanted to know could they bring their friends?

And so I said to my state president, what is the rule for like mom's seminary is can

anyone come or what do you think? And it was so cute because he said well we won't

advertise it but we won't turn anyone away and so we started in the really society room and we

ended up in the gym um of our church and we would gather every week and we would talk about the scriptures

together and I was thinking about that this morning when I was getting ready because I was like
