I'm joined today by Scott Pianowski and by Matt Harmon.

We have a lot to discuss and dissect in this edition of the fantasy podcast, including another high-profile quarterback, entering the NFL transfer portal. Again, much to discuss

before we dive into the conference title games. Matt Harmon, how do you propose that we get Matthew

Stafford to the Washington football team? Yeah, this has been something I've been talking about

for a little bit now.

I would love to see it.

I have no idea if it will happen.

But I also love, too, that I think since we talked about this idea, Washington has made the move to bring in Martin Mayhew, the general manager that drafted Matthew Stafford number one overall in Detroit all those years ago.

Now, I mean, Stafford was one of those picks.

It was like, okay, anybody could take Matthew Stafford, number one overall.

Like, he was definitely in that range of guys.

Although there was some like talk back in that draft. Like, oh, maybe Mark Sanchez will unseat Matthew Stafford.

Yikes, tough take for anyone that threw that one out there back in the day.

But again, there's some connective tissue there, which I think makes sense. And it's just a team that's

like crying, I think, for a veteran quarterback. I don't think Ron Rivera wants to mess around

with a young guy. Typically, when you've got defense like this, you want to strike while the iron's

hot. You don't want to strike while the iron's hot.

You don't want to mess around like Jacksonville did with Blake Bordles and just completely

watched that tiny, tiny window that you had because of that defense completely evaporate,

and then you're picking number one overall a few years later.
