All right, welcome to another episode of Condo. It's a Trouble. Judzolgad, Chip Skagins,

Jonathan Harrison, producing. We are recording this on Friday, so going into the weekend.

And Chip are plenty to talk about, but let's start with this one.

Your reaction to the twins losing out on the Craig Kimbril sweepstakes with the Cubs

signing him to a three-year deal with some type of nebulous fourth-year option,

but it comes down to this, $43 million.

I guess Ken Rosenthal Chip reported that it went.

Cubs raised, so I don't know where the twins fell in, but the twins were definitely in that

group.

Well, it's disappointing because the contract he signed was reasonable.

It wasn't one of those contracts where you said well i wouldn't touch that you know

that's just way too much for the risk that you get with his age and um some of the wear and tear

i thought it was it's deflating because the fact that they wouldn't go above two years for a guy for

you know one being in a situation they're at, two, the bullpen obviously needs help.

And three, that contract is just, I think it's very fair for a team.

And so, you know, now it's a double whammy because you still have the problem,

and now you're going to have to give up prospects to address it, whereas if it was just Kimberl, it's just money.

And you give them the money, and it's easy for me to, you know, say it's no big deal.

But if you give him that contract and it doesn't work out and he's terrible, whatever, it's just money.

Yeah, it's not like it's going to hamstring it for 10 years.
