At age seven, I was adopted by my stepdad.

My mom remarried.

My dad was nowhere in the picture.

And my stepdad probably just thought it would be a good idea to make my last

name match his to where he didn't have to explain shit to people if I'm guessing that's probably

the scenario well you know I never felt like my whole life I received what I would later on

become to know as unconditional love.

You see, as a child, the only time that I was told I love you or given a hug or an add-a-boy

is when I was performing in sports or I was working hard or doing chores or doing something that benefited those adults

around me. When I did something that didn't benefit, I never had the parents that were like,

you know what, if he hurt somebody, we still love him unconditionally. He's our child. I had the parents

that were like, if he hurt somebody, fuck him. You're going to have to deal with whatever ramifications come alongside of that.
