I think at some point in our life that every single one of us has become a slave to

0:06.4

something outside of us that wasn't good for us, right? It could have been another person

0:12.4

right, a toxic relationship. We could have been very attached to somebody. It could have been

0:17.3

foods. We've been degrading ourselves with the wrong foods day in and day out. You know,

0:23.6

the sugar has got us, the fats got us, you know, our tongue just craves it and we don't have control

0:28.8

over our desire. It could have been substances, you know, some of us may have gone through

knowing the relationship wasn't good, knowing the friendship wasn't good, knowing it was toxic.

1:32.5

The heart was conditioned, we submitted, we became a slave. Now, that same conditioning that we've

1:39.6

gone through, that same conditioning can actually be used for the good. Just like the yin and yang,

1:47.2

there's a polar opposite to everything isn't there, right? There's a contrast to everything.

1:51.0

Now, if our heart has already gone through the conditioning and it knows what it feels like

1:56.4

to submit, to be a slave, to be attached, to be so invested in something else that wasn't good for us,

2:06.0

doesn't that mean our heart has the ability to do the same for something that is good for us?
