0:21.0	So today we want to give you a little bit of the lay of the land with what we're doing with concurrently this podcast
0:28.0	that is aimed for equipping, equipping adults engaged in children's lives.
0:34.0	And we thought we'd start maybe with a sense of our structure, a sense of some of our tools,
0:40.0	a sense of even our vision for what we're doing here, and wanted to start with a question.
0:46.0	Typically we'll start with a question that's coming out of culture or some news story.
0:52.0	But today, since we're just beginning, we want to start with a 30,000 foot view of what we're about.
0:59.0	Yes, so the question we want to tackle today is what does it look like to disciple kids and students through extraordinary times?
1:10.0	You know, this is something we've heard about in our culture a lot, especially over the last few years,
1:17.0	in the news people saying things like when it's election season, this is the most important election of our time,
1:24.0	or voices telling us things are getting worse than they've ever been before, or even non-news sources.
1:32.0	You're in the grocery store and there's an announcement over their loudspeaker.
1:35.0	These are unprecedented times.
1:37.0	I think we all sometimes just feel it in the air that times are changing, things are different.
1:43.0	And we are all dealing with things that we have not encountered in our lifetimes.
1:50.0	I think that's such a great thought right there, that these are things that we have never encountered before.
1:58.0	And that way it is unprecedented, at least for us.
2:02.0	And so when you're talking about those different voices that are adding to and reinforcing that theme,
