All right, you guys, this is going to be a special episode.

Kind of like Gang Show, but we're going to go a little off script, and we're actually going to teach you something today.

I know we never do that.

But this is going to be a comrades special.

It occurred to me that a bunch of people that we, in and out of the nation were doing the comrades.

And I thought, you know what?

Let's touch base with all of them and find out everything we need to know, like the travel,

the experience, what they did while they were there, all the kinds of things that you're

probably going to ask me someday when you think about doing comrades.

And just by way of background, I want everyone to know.

So basically the comrades

is the largest and most competitive ultramarathon in the world it's 88 kilometers so it's about 55ish

miles it's in south africa between the cities of durban and peter merrittsburg or the cities of

peter merrittsburg and durbin It flips every other year from up to down.

And it's about 15, 20,000 runners from all over the world.

It's extremely competitive.

Two of the fastest 50-mileers in our country went over there.

And one of them got in the top 10 you know but didn't win so it's uh

it's a really really iconic race if you don't know about it you should if you want to go back
