Welcome back to Composite 2-Star recruits.

I am your host, Chris Trevino, and as always, joined by my podcasting partner in crime, Hurricane Martinez, aka Ready or Not, for today's Wednesday episode, Gerard.

It has been a minute since I've heard your lovely voice on this podcast.

We took some time off.

I know some of the fans and listeners were upset about that, but we needed our rest. So I ask you, how are you doing after a couple weeks off are your vocal cords back to 100% are you well rested? Are you ready

for some fresh takes? Yeah, we're going to ease ourselves in to the podcast regime. And we're still

kind of in a little bit of limbo between the 2026 class, which now has 32 commitments and the

20207 class, which you'll start to see transitioning in terms of priorities and

unofficial visits and they're being more focused on that 2027 class as the season progresses.

But right now we're kind of coming out of that July period. And Chris

talked about July, whether the fan base was going to laugh or cry. And they had a good laugh.

They had a very, very long chuckle through the dog days of summer, capping it off with a commitment that we're going to talk about today.

Yeah, obviously, we have an easy cold open for today's episode with USC's 30 second commitment and offensive linemen.

And obviously, we're going to talk about the rest of the offensive line class.

And like you said, we're going to ease our way back into this because we're actually

recording on Wednesday afternoon.

USC does have practice, supposed to be a morning practice.
